- Dedication: Hugs: I have long studied the act of hugging. Perhaps I am ready for it yet.
- Ascension: Hugs: I have bought a body-pillow for practice. The Third Mark is in me.
- Ascension: Hugs: I have begun to evaluate my friends to see which of them needs a hug the most. This is the Fourth Mark.
- Ascension: Hugs: I have come close to hugging them, but I held myself back. I must wait until I, and they, are ready. The Fifth Mark.
