The Crown of Glory, also known as It-In-Itself, is one of the Hours of the Fansus, created by TheLordOfHats. It is a God-From-Blood who arrived during the foundation of Sumer's dynasties. Its primary aspect is Lantern, with a secondary aspect of Edge. An exceedingly proud and jealous hour, it accepts no equal, and crushes perceived challengers without mercy--including its own worshipers.

History

The earliest written records of the Crown date back to the early days of Sumer, recorded by an anonymous priest in Uruk. The account describes the sudden appearance of a blazing light upon the slopes of the Mansus, that 'shone with an intensity that seemed to challenge Glory itself'. The priest further notes that it is a clear sign that Mesh-ki-ang-gasher's sacrifice was favorably received.

The War of Doors

The Crown of Glory was not an early participant in the War of Doors, but was eventually convinced that the Keys sought to challenge its dominion, and was swayed to the side of the Doors.
