Memories… memories of this place do not stay where they belong. We must temper our minds with Heart or Lantern, lest our own memories are knocked loose in the process.

Expeditions

  • A Lost Shrine
  • The Egyptian Port

Requirements

  • Heart (Invokes the Architeuthian)
  • Lantern (Invokes the Apple-in-the-Eye)

Heart Invocation

We call upon the Architeuthian

  • Heart 10: We call upon the Dweller in Depths, who hoards knowledge. The power here cannot wrest our minds from the tendrils of the Squid. Our minds will be safe.
  • Heart 5: We call upon the Dweller in Depths, who permits no treachery. We will allow no betrayal from our minds. Our memories shall stay within our grasp... Probably.
  • Heart 1: We call upon the Dweller in Depths, who is ruthless. His power will grant us strength. Although, maybe strength is not what is needed to resist this curse...
  • Heart Success: The curse falters! Our power cannot be resisted by the power that is here. We shall pass.
  • Heart Failure: We are undone! Like grains of sand against the tide, this power washes us away. If we do not retreat now...

Lantern Invocation

We call upon the Apple-in-the-Eye

  • Lantern 10: We call upon the Tower of Treasures, who permits no equal. The power here will not best the power of the Glorious Lie. We will keep our memories intact.
  • Lantern 5: We call upon the Tower of Treasures, who shines. If we keep its light within our minds, it should ward off the power of Moth. Or perhaps it will be all we remember.
  • Lantern 1: We call upon the Tower of Treasures, who beckons. It cannot be forgotten once seen. But everything else might be...
  • Lantern Success: The curse fades. Our power is superior to the power that was here. We shall pass.
  • Lantern Failure: We are lost! My name is... Your name is... We are... Who are we?
