Before the Collision, there was [[The_Spiral|the Spiral]], and the -second mansus hour of heart-. During the vent, most Mansus-dwellers cowered for their lives, fled in panic, or watched from safe locations. Not these two. Together in embrace, one from madness, one from love, they faced the oblivion and were consumed by the flames, from which later leaped out the Jester, his laugh echoing across the entire dimension.
