The Apothecarium
The Apothecarium is an organic, mountain-sized hybrid of a hospital and a fortress, located in the heart of The Neoplasm. It serves as the base of operation for followers of the Recollection.
History
Layout
Being literally built within the Recollection, the layout of the Apothecarium is fully capable of shifting its layout at any time, rendering mapping attempts meaningless. It remains heavily debated by Scholars of the Occult how exactly Long navigate the hospital's halls.
That said, the Apothecarium isn't without structure. The Apothicarum, according to certain accounting from summoned long, is divided into several distinct layers, each with their own specific division of content. The documentation for these layers has been listed below, organized in descending order by their depth.
It must be noted that the validity of everything past FNORD remains unconfirmed.
- The Outer Layer-
- Clearance & Checkup Point A- Entry and Exit from certain layers of the Recollection requires a number of screening checks to discern the state of incoming patients and the assessment of threats. Point A, while primarily clearance based, addresses mostly surface level detection such as Name or Long status, the presence of mortal or occult equipment, and detection of those infected by the Blight Abiding.
