Influences

A Settled Flow

Memories grow brighter as the world is leeched of light. [A second-order influence: apparent to the perceptive, instantly recognisable to an adept. This can be used in some Rites to summon minions.]

2

A Stagnant Stream

The past stifles the present, seeps through the skull. I should stop and smell the roses. [A sixth-order influence: the signs are unmistakable. This can be used in some Rites to summon minions.]

6

A Static Surge

Every breath is labor; every action strain. [A tenth-order influence! A gathering knot of power and peril. This can be used in some Rites to summon minions.]'

10

An Immersion

This is drowning, if the lungs never quite filled. [A fifteenth-order influence! This might be the personal attention of an Hour. This can be used in some Rites to summon minions.]
