Description
The Boatman is a peculiar Hour. A gatekeeper - he is the way into the City. The only way in, in fact. He dictates who enters and who will feed the river. That is his task.
History
Far before the days of the lock-down, he was there, guarding the gates. He is far more than a mere ferryman. Once a mortal who was considered a murderer by those who stumbled upon his secrets, hidden in the boathouse. His journey to Hourhood was torturous, at first for his accusers, and afterwards for himself after he became a long; his master held the gates as he would bleed like a pig until he became the very blood that he would shed. Once he fully ascended, he found that the blood would simply not stop pouring, so the Boatman created a moat from it to further aid his duties. Aside from this, the Boatman's sight also greatly improved with ascension. These boons only made him gain a greater fervor for his task and purpose than ever before.
Appearance
A large figure shrouded in a red cloak and donning a dark mask. The mask has smiling face - none have seen his face for a long time. His limbs are blood-red.
